Mill Hill, Shoreham

Todays lovely sunny weather clouded over as soon as we reached Shoreham this afternoon but with a little patience we still managed to track down a few beautiful butterflies amongst the bright yellow Horseshoe Vetch that carpets the south side of the hill. The spectacular view from the top of this steep slope extends from Lancing College and the River Adur, across the flyover; Shoreham's own version of spaghetti junction, and over the urban sprawl to the sea.
