Sunday (12th July) I joined a group of 30+ butterfly enthusiasts on a guided walk led by an enthusiastic and very knowledgeable Neil Hulme, from the Sussex branch of Butterfly Conservation UK (http://www.sussex-butterflies.org.uk/). Although the magnificent Purple Emperors did not co-operate for the camera they were however wonderful to see. The assembled crowd made the day doubly enjoyable, with much chat about butterflies, places to visit and cameras! Here are just a few of the shots that I was able to take.
